Our Finances Is Important
to God

God does not want us to neglect our financial health while we are on this planet because we are all sons and daughters of the King of kings and ambassadors of the kingdom of God. When we go about our daily life and minister the Word of God to people, we represent the Lord of all creation to the world. This is why He wants us to be successful not only in our financial life but also in our thinking, marriage, job, health, education, and so forth. Our victories are testimonies of how amazing and awesome our God is to all of those who we come into contact with, especially those who do not know and believe in Him.

In God’s eyes, just one Christian or person experiencing financial distress is one too many. However, like a shepherd who goes in search of the one sheep of the hundred that wandered away (Luke 15:3-7), God continuously seeks after the one who has gone astray from the financial life that He desires for us to live. When the Lord finds that one person “all of Heaven” rejoices!

Purpose of Financial Ministry

Our finances is of major importance to God, which is why the Bible contains more than 2,000 scriptures devoted to the subject matters of money, wealth, and possession. Thus, the purpose of the Financial Ministry is to help believers realize victory in their finances so that they can do the work God has called them to do, be a financial blessing to others, and live the financial life the Lord intends for them. The ministry's purpose is five-fold as follow:

Educate believers to seek first the kingdom of God (i.e., where God stands in terms of money, financial prosperity, and financial stewardship)

1.

Educate followers on how the Enemy deceives individuals to fall into financial darkness and how they can be set free

2.

Explain the truths and importance of giving, budgeting, saving, financial sacrifice, increasing one's income, staying out of debt, and acquiring assets

3.

4.

Impart biblical financial principles to help  believers discern which investments have a realistic chance to building wealth and to investing wisely

Help followers of the Lord to avoid faith-based investment scams

5.

Why Does Satan Want to Keep Believers in Financial Darkness?

When it comes to our financial life, the Enemy’s sole purpose is to keep as many believers as he can in perpetual financial darkness! And why would Satan be concerned about the financial health of believers? He is not concerned about our finance in the way we may be thinking. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Not only does the Devil hates us and hates seeing us live a financially prosperous life, but he knows that financially strong Christians, who obey the Word of God, pose a significant threat to his plan to dominate and enslave the world.

The Love of Money: An Issue of the Heart

First, it’s very important to understand that God Himself is not against money, financial success, and wealth. There are numerous scriptures that support this notion. For example, in John 10:10, Jesus Himself said, “I have come that they [specifically believers] may have life, and have it to the full.” Financial success and prosperity are included in the “full” part of this statement as well. Otherwise, a believer cannot “have life, and have it to the full.” Second, many of the individuals in the Bible who God chose to do His will were incredibly wealthy themselves. Examples of such persons included Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, King David, and King Solomon.

Ken’s Background in Finance & Investing

With regards to the subject matter of finance, it was God who enabled Ken to discover and develop his gift in the areas of finance and investing. Ken has a strong understanding of the Scripture (God's financial truths) and its application to personal finance as well as over a decade of experience and success trading and investing in the stock market. In addition, he has a strong background in statistics and probability and their applications to investing. Furthermore, Ken possesses a deep knowledge and understanding of various financial and investment products, which include:

  • Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and money markets

  • Initial public offerings (IPOs), private equities, venture capitals/startups, hedge funds, and securitized investment products

  • Real estate investment trusts (REITs), forex, commodities, and cryptocurrencies

  • Nonfungible tokens (NFTs), options trading, futures market, foreign & emerging markets, inverse and leverage funds

  • Investment brokerage account, 401k, 403b, and IRAs (traditional, Roth, SEP, and SIMPLE)

Ecclesiastes 10:14 NLT tells us, "No one [except God] really knows what is going to happen; no one can predict the future." So, don't wait until you have money or for a better time to come before you acquire financial knowledge and wisdom. The sooner you are educated in God's financial truths the better off you will be. For those that wait or do nothing, this is what the Bible has to say: "Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap" (Ecclesiastes 11:14).
